I read a review of the movie we’re in.
Predicting the now as it occurred to me. Knowing what’s next with utter certainty. Like riding a bus without a driver, I’m stuck in the show without a writer.
The thrilling performances and camera work! I’d never seen it but I knew all the words. It was hard to forget that it was only a film. It was just like deja-vu but never really that real. Every line was so predictable. Every action was so intentional. Every look was so emotional. Every moment was so sensational.
Who are these people and what do they want? Somehow inscrutable but well understood. I knew where to stand and I knew what to do. I don’t know how because I’d only read the review. The subtleties were still a mystery. The subtitles were of no use to me. Then I awoke before it had ended. I was confused but not disappointed because every film must have an ending and I read the review and I lived it this morning.
