This is a sonic companion to the original theater piece created by a collaboration between The Imaginists Theater Collective in Santa Rosa, CA and esteemed Hungarian director/writer Arpad Schilling.
After a five month writing and rehearsal process, world premiere performances took place in May and June of 2022 in San Francisco and Santa Rosa respectively.

XTeVioN created a series of sounds and music live during the performances. Those pieces have been expanded upon and more music/sound has subsequently been added in and around them with the idea that each scene and its title would have an accompanying soundscape that could be a reflection of the mood and what is happening onstage as the piece unfolds.Doors slam, furniture moves, scenes change, and the sound of the space the piece was created and later performed in is almost always present. It's as though the play unfolds on a stage with no people on it. Some of it happened and some of it did not.
So, this is like an alternate universe movie soundtrack version of the soundtrack to the play. Hence "A Sort of Soundtrack."
